Cape Ann area (Rockport, Gloucester, etc)

Hi ladies!

My H, our two boys (2 years and 8 months) and I will be visiting Cape Ann in July. I have been there several times growing up, but we always did the same stuff - Bearskin Neck, whale watch, Boston, the beach, Salem....I am looking for some different things to do with my family. We tend to enjoy not-so-known things, but are open to anything. Thanks!!!

Depending on when you're going you might catch the St. Peter's festival in Gloucester (they have a greasy pole contest) or the giant bonfire in Rockport for 4th of July (last year it was 30+ft).

Cape Ann Brewing Company is worth a visit, but I'm not sure how kid-friendly it is.
