Should we rename ourselves?

Ellie's post about moving us to a new community board has me thinking.

We are all friends because of BOTB, so it seems a little disloyal to change the name, but... It might also be cool to pick a name that fits us more. However, I can't think of a short name that sums us all up. Plus, I wouldn't want to be so tight that we never get new people on our board.

What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I lack creativity to come up with a new name. If someone else has an awesome idea I'm all for it though.

I have no serious name to contribute. BOTB is ok with me. EBBT (Everything but baby talk) is my other suggestion

Me too. That's why Allie didn't have a name until she was several hours old.

I'd say stick to BOTB just so it's familiar. And if we use just the letters, it doesn't invite all the crazy, just the fun kind

I was trying to think of how we could define what we actually talk about, and what I came up with is "Family Life". Since that's what we actually talk about- babies, significant others, IF, in-laws, work, lack of sleep, etc... All the things that make up everyday life in a family. I kind of also like how it doesn't define family as just having babies. It might also help us attract more people.

Also, I don't think I like the idea of being on the community board. I don't think we will ever be able to get any new people- it's too far removed. I don't think we need to be MM or PCE, but a few more would be nice. If we stay on the main board that is more likely to happen.

Or we could keep BOTB as just letters. I like that too if we can drop the whole name.

I'm probably over thinking this. I hate change, but if it's gonna happen I would like it be better.
