I hope you don't mind me jumping in because I have the same problem. Ash for the Clarisonic do you think it is okay to start with the cheaper Olay one to see if I like it? I am so bad about skincare but I am starting to get to an age where I am terrified of wrinkles LOL. I want to make sure I use it before I drop the money on the Clarisonic.
This is my favorite facewash. It's kind of expensive, but you get a lot. It doesn't leave my skin too dry, but it also help take off my makeup: www.mariobadescu.com/Enzyme-Cleansing-Gel
I use Cetaphil moisturizer for the drier parts of my face.
I have the same issues. I use my Clarisonic Mia every day and it has made a huge difference. I used the Biore Ice Cleanser for a long time before I started the Paula's Choice acne line which I'm now in love with.
I then use the PC high strength acne toner and treatment, and then Aveeno moisturizer with SPF 30.

Bern-your skin sounds really similar to mine. I mix La Roche Posay Effaclar with a little bit of St. Ives Apricot Scrub and so far I am happy with the combo. I found the LRPE at CVS and I believe it was around $20 for a large tube which is lasting me quite a while. Worth the splurge IMO.
During the summer I usually skip moisturizer and just use a primer (LOVE Too Faced Primed and Poreless for sensitve skin). Now that it's winter and my skin is a little drier I use Neutrogena moisturizer as well.
