Do any of you ladies have a FitBit? I've heard some good things about them, and I'm wanting some reviews from people I "know" before spending some of my birthday money on one. Looks like it'd make me so much more aware of my activity and remind me to work out every day.

I have one. I love how small it is and the fact that you don't have to plug it in to sync it. It just clips right to your bra, pants, etc. You don't even notice it and because of that, there's no reason not to wear it every day. Their website is very user friendly and if you log your food, etc daily, you really can get a ton out of it.
You can upgrade to the Premium plan for about $50/year which gives you more involved data and you can set goals with that for calories burned and more.

So do I have to pay yearly to use it? Or is that only if I want to use the premium plan?
One of my BFF's has one. She loves it, and she bought her H one. And he actually wears it too. She usually wears it on her bra so she can wear it every day no matter what else she's got going on, and it really helps to give her a goal and get her moving.
I'm using a cheapy $10 pedometer, but I'm very very tempted by the fitbit. My favorite feature (besides the size/location thing) is that it'll talk to most of the calorie tracking websites.
I have one and I love it! I don't pay for the premium membership and you still get quite a bit of data/graphs for free. I like that it not only monitors your steps but also movement and calculations such as calorie burn. It's pretty neat looking at the graphs after working out. I can tell if I started slacking in the middle of a workout. I really like the sleep monitor/graph. Prior, I think I was deluding myself with the actual amount of sleep that I got.
I'm not a huge fan of their website for counting calories. I found myfitnesspal to have more items on file. So I would just enter the total day's calories on fitbit's website for the day. It's not bad... just not the best out there. They could have improved some--I haven't used that portion in over a year.
I also just clip it to my bra strap (right above where the strap meets the cup) and have never had it fall off. I've heard of others clipping in the middle but I think that would depend on the style. Also consider posting this on Health&Fitness. There are several girls over there that use it.
