Gel nails - removal?

I got Gel Nails for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and the part that was painted still looks great! YAY!

The part that has grown looks like I'm in desperate need of a mani. DAMN THIS CONUNDRUM!!!

How do you take off gel nails @ home?

You need to soak them in acetone for about 10 minutes. It should be bubbling/flaking off at that point, then use an orange stick to push it off the nail.

I tore one cotton ball in 10 pieces, dipped in acetone, put on each nail and wrapped in foil. Sit 5-10 minutes and it comes off like a champ.
