Good question! Here I am trying to waste nap time by interneting and there is no one to talk to! I have just about given up on the SAHM board. I think everyone must have hightailed it back to bumpland. But I like you guys!
The sahm board is Boring both places!! E has been extra spirited today and I feel like poo so I'm disappointed when I don't see anything good to read since I've finally stopped the whining.

What?! Raspberries are my most favorite fruit evah! My son was also spazzing out because he didn't want to wait until we got home to eat them. I also snuck an eclaire on the drive home.
I want to say something all controversial-like, and rile people up, but I don't have it in me. Well, I DO but I don't want you to kick me out of the clubhouse and put a no nandas sign on the door

One of the Bumbo debates got pretty heated. I *think* it was Karinothing who went so far to say that people who used them were idiots, but I could be wrong.
wait, so I SHOULDN'T tell you I let my then 2 week old sit in his bumbo an watch Silence of the Lambs?? What if I was drinking at the time - does that make it better?!?

For real, what's surprising. I got my sister one as a shower gift but she said she could never use it because my niece's thighs were too fat. They look cute though. I mean, don't leave your kid in it all day, common sense, yadda yadda.

community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/61207330.aspx We have the Mamas and Papas chair that is like the Bumbo but designed a little better so they're easier to get in and out of. We still use it because V refuses to sit on her own.
No bumbos are EVIL!! There is a reason your baby can't sit yet and you are ruining their spines! I'm pretty sure 10 seconds is 10 seconds to long. You guys are such horrible parents!!

Jazzy, what a cute picture! My 3 year old still gets in it, so I'll play super martyr. Also, when Amelia is in the bumbo, he likes to wrap a blanket around him and sit on the floor next to her in his makeshift bumbo. Sad thing is her thighs get stuck, and his never did.

My computer has been really wonky today which is really irritating because I had to stay home all day waiting for the pool guy... We never got a Bumbo, I have a Summer Infant seat that is kind of similar, but Li never really liked sitting in it.
And on the bumbo note- we got one as a gift from a friend with 4 youngsters who SWORE we would love it and use it all the time. We didn't. The munchkin kinda hates it although it is slightly handy as a portable highchair. If you want to sit on the floor to feed your kid. If I was to purchase one for our yet to be conceived #2 I would get a booster with a seatbelt that can be attached to a chair. You know, something useful

Oh and here Is E in hers picking strawberries.
UNBELIEVABLE. (how cute that is AND how you are such a terrible parent at the same time!)
G's thighs were too big for the Bumbo by the time we tried it (maybe 4.5-5 months?).
