We use a Halo sleep sack on X every night. My SIL was telling me that I should stop using it as soon as he can stand in his crib. Well he's been standing in his crib for a couple months now. I'm still using it, is that bad? Does anyone know if they are unsafe once the child can stand? I saw some at BRU that have leg holes in them, maybe I can get that one? I just don't like putting him down with just a blanket because he kicks it off.
Ari can pull up but hasn't tried in the crib yet, maybe that is because of his fleece sleep sack, maybe not. I think it should be fine. I would probably stop using one once they start to cruise along furniture so that he won't trip if he is walking in his crib.
I will say that Thad got wrapped up in it and fell over in bed. He didn't hurt himself though. He was cruising down on the bed and got his feet tangled.
A can cruise and I still use hers. She gets irritated with it because her feet don't do what she wants, but she knows she's supposed to be sleepy when it's on. I've seen the leg hole ones too, but I think they'll be ginormous at this point. Right now I have her in a large that swallows her whole. I will probably get her one with legs later on though. I loev sleep sacks. I want one for me.

I was just telling DH that I wanted one for me too!
X is in a 12 month one now and he's huge on him. He still stands up in his crib with it on. I just got worried when my SIL told me it was unsafe to use, but I had never heard that before.
Lincoln has been pulling up in his crib for a month and a half and his sleep sack has never made it harder for him. His feet have enough room in there that he still gets up, down and around fine.
