If you did a formal weight loss program/diet post partum, what program did you use, if you used one? Or diet did you follow (if you followed one).
I didn't gain much with S (only 23 lbs) and all but one of them is gone. But I still have 30 of the 60 I gained with K. I don't necessarily want or need to lose all of it (I was borderline underweight before), but would like to try to lose some. My exercise time is somewhat limited for now because of work.
I'm thinking about WW....but not sure. Debating doing the couch to 5k in the future, but not right now.
I have the livestrong app on my phone and watch my calorie intake. I also do C25K. ETA:I've never given birth. I gained 10 unhappy pounds over the last year and about 5 pounds after my thyroid surgery.
I have basically been using the myfitnesspal.com app on my phone to count calories in vs out. I previously did south beach with some success (until I went On vacation last year when I fell off the wagon) so I use some of those principals Now, but more loosely. Basically I try to stay at the calories the app tells me to (~1200). If you work out, it calculates that in, and so you're supposed to be at a net of 1200
I guess I missed the "what did you do post partum" part. Oops. I have no kids
I did the C25K, it was great for me and I enjoyed it even though I normally hate running. Now that the pool is open I try and swim 30 min a couple times a week. I'm not really on a diet I just watch what I eat and try to do something physical every day.

I have tried WW 3 times and failed each time. Counting so few points was hard. I'm counting calories on MyFitness Pal and doing well. I think seeing the whole picture for my calories has helped me to make better choices.

I have a friend that over the last year and a half lost 50lbs on WW. She is now working for them. She has never given birth but has struggled with weight her whole life. She has done WW in the past with little success but this time something clicked and its been a huge lifestyle change for her. I'd be more than happy to PM you her info if you would like to talk to her.

I love myfitnesspal. I was really getting into it when I got pregnant. I was programing my own recipes in and everything. I forgot all about it!

Tracking my calories has been the thing that has helped me the most.
I've been working out consistantly since January, 5-6 times a week and had only lost like 3 lbs by April (no tracking calories). Mid April I started counting every calorie and added in weights 2 times a week and I've lost 6 lbs. Turns out I was taking in way too many calories. I need that visual to see everyday how quickly they add up. I still have a good 10-15 lbs to go to my goal weight (only 2 more to go to pre baby weight) but I feel good that the scale is finally moving.
I know a lot of people have success with WW if you want a more formal program. I'm just not into having to figure out points for every little thing I eat.
Eta: I should add that the weight I have to lose is not baby weight unfortunately. I gained 22 lbs with J and lost it all within the first month or so pp. But then slowly over the past year I gained 8 freaking lbs. I blame it on being a sleep deprived new mom and eating junk to calm myself. Oh and wine.

I gained about 30lbs with C and, though I lost it all in a couple months, I was still not happy with that weight or my postpartum body in general. I joined a bootcamp style gym and have worked out 4x per week for 4 months. I've lost 16lbs and have 12lbs to go with 2 months left on my contract.
I think I can meet my goal but I need to get back on track with healthy eating...I've fallen off the wagon for about a month food-wise and weight loss is all in the kitchen IMO.
I'm SO freaking happy with my weight loss and how much my fitness has progressed thus far. It's exhausting having to coordinate healthy meal planning, grocery shopping, prep, cooking, not cheating, and getting in all the exercise though. Sometimes I'm resentful of the time it takes me away from C but I figure a happy mom = a happy baby.

I gained 25lbs with the twins and lost it all almost immediately. Sadly, over the course of their first year I've put it back on and then some. I've been doing c25k and just REALLY eating well. I'm making slow progress. I'm also considering ww when we get settled in NC. Jogging stroller is already in the cart on amazon, DH just needs to pay for it
I'm doing a modified version of C25k. I do an interval job/walk for 1.75 miles two times a week while pushing the jogging stroller.
I also do several forms of crunches, push ups, lunges, flutter kicks, leg lifts, and some yoga moves two times a week (usually not my running days). It takes me about 15 minutes to do the whole routine.
I've been doing it for about 8 weeks now and I'm happy with the results so far. I definitely feel the difference physically.
With my first kid, I did eDiets. Combined that with C25K and I was in the best shape of my life 9 PP. So looking forward to getting back onto the fitness band wagon and was getting set to start C25K again but just hit a set back by needing to have an episiotomy repair. Owie.
Same here and love it. The back wheels come off easily so it fits in the trunk of my Civic. The weight isn't bad.
Yay! Maybe that'll be my birthday present to myself. I can probably use a 20% BRU coupon on that brand too. (Or not b/c everything is excluded on their ANY ITEM!! coupon.)

I don't think it's an excluded item...at least it wasn't last year.
