Today was Audrey's first swim class and it was a total success. She loved it! I'm so happy we signed up. I may have overestimated H being able to take her on his own though. I could barely wrangle her on the changing table and I had him with me to hand me stuff. I guess we'll see.
Haha! We had a size 6 month Carters suit from the summer that she never got to wear but when I tried it on her last night it was too small. I had to run to the gap with her to have a suit for tonight. Plus it's super cute! *squee*
I can't wait to start up swimming again this week. We haven't been since the middle of November and I think Owen will like it a lot more now. Before he just floated around watching everything, chewing on his finger.
FWIW, my BFF takes her daughter to swim on Saturdays. They have done a couple of sessions. Her H always comes along and they take turns with who goes in the pool. She said it's way to difficult to get themselves and the baby dried/dressed, etc. without 2 adults helping.
ETA: To clarify, a session is like 8 weeks or something. So they have gone a bunch of times!

Yeah, we're doing it at the Y and its 8 weeks. I'm starting a running class this week that meets at 8:30 and swim class is at 9:30 so he's going to have to get her ready on his own and then I can meet them there and help after.
She's adorable in there! I like her floatie-pack. Yes it is a PITA to do all the changing and un-changing by yourself. I did baby swim with DS1 from 6 months until age 2.5 when he could go in by himself. That was a huge relief when I could sit high and dry in the bleachers and watch. But baby swim is so cute
