So we've been both dealing with getting used to new teeth, A got 6 all at once, and it's been painful. She's broken the skin on my best producing side, and it's pretty excruciating to nurse there. I'm cleaning it and putting lanolin on. Is it okay for her to still nurse off that side even though the skin is broken, is that safe/sanitary? Any other treatment tips you could offer to help it heal. I definitely don't want to wean at all, so I want to work through it. Thanks so much!

Ouch! Try dipping your nips in warm water w/ sea salt and letting them air dry. It will help with keeping them clean and with healing. In terms of being safe I had scabby nipples w/ both girls the first few weeks. Don't forget to rub in some expressed milk.
Oooh poor Creamsicle!! I had bleeding nips in the beginning with both kids and I do know it's ok to nurse. Not fun, but ok.
My DS2 has 4-6 teeth and has chomped down experimentally a couple times, but not broken skin. I can only imagine how painful that must be! Keep putting on the lanolin and lots of air-dry time. Pity it's not summer you could walk around with your boobs out
Hope it heals fast for you. And yes, definitely no need to wean, just give it some time to heal and she's probably just going through a phase. It should pass!! GL!!
Cream, can you get a doctor to call you in Triple Nipple? It's a cream they make in the pharmacy and it heals me up SO fast. I have had one tube since April and it works great - healed me up when I was 2 weeks in and ready to quit over the pain. Might be worth a shot to try it!
