Anyone have it? Is it helpful? I think I saw someone mention it in a different thread recently, but I can't remember who. I started out with purees and all was well, but I started doing more of a finger food style dinner when what we were having could be baby-fied and now she doesn't want purees and I need ideas. I'm the "I need a recipe" type of person. Lame, but true.
I suggested it about choking. In the first chapter it gives a very clear overview if how to start table food. I didn't end up using the recipes but I got it from our library you might want to check there before buying it
Ah, it was you! I did check out my library system, which includes books for a few area counties, but no luck. It's only $10 on Amazon (local B&N doesn't have it in stock either), but I'm a horrible cheapskate and would hate to get it and find that it sucks or doesn't fit my life.
Thanks! I'd love to be able to have her eat what we eat, but that's just not possible all the time right now, so I think I'm thinking it'll be the other way around. Maybe we'll change what WE eat based on what she can/should eat.
eta: Also, I sometimes need a jumping off point, and I was thinking reading how people update their own recipes would give me ideas on how to modify mine.
The biggest thing is the salt, they aren't supposed to have salt (200mg sodium per day I think was the recommended max). So the advice to just feed them yours doesn't work unless you don't cook with salt. They also say BLW makes restaurant eating easy except restaurant meals are loaded with salt?!
