I have heard talk of this and I figured you guys would know the low down...
What is it??? I mean, I know chocolate and I know wine, but how do you combine the two? Is it "real" wine with hints of chocolatiness? Or is it, like alcoholic chocolate milk?both of these options sound pretty darn tasty, but the second one sounds more dangerous- as in, oh shit did I just drink the whole bottle?
We have a bottle that has been sitting in our wine rack for two years. We have yet to try it and at this point, I am not sure the bottle is still good..
I bought some a couple months ago and hated it. I was thinking it was going to be sweet but it definitely was not. The namebrand I got was ChocoVine.
So was it actual wine with "hints" of chocolate? Cuz, yea, that sounds kinda yuck. Maybe what I'm looking for is creamy (like chocolate milk with a kick)? I want it to be that.. and be yummy

I like kahlua with a little chocolate milk. I only use a little chocolate in the chocolate milk.

Okay, I've been meaning to respond since I read this post at like 4am, but I had to get to the bottle to remember the name. My sister gave me a bottle of chocolate wine that she'd gotten from her boss. It's called Red Decadence. It's really good! I've had that chocovine before (the milky stuff). Red Decadence is actually a red wine that has notes of chocolate in it. It was way better than I thought it would be. A good "dessert" wine.
