Okay she didn't kill a puppy. She let the puppy out without a leash and he got hit.

Looking back I also didn't really find that story believable. Because who in their right fucking mind leaves their dog with a single mom with two babies. Either that person was the biggest asshole alive or it didn't happen.

I wouldn't put it past someone to do that. It'd be her putting herself out there without actually putting herself out there.

That spins it into her playing the part of her own sister. "look at my sister!" which would really be "look at ME!"
