What do you bring for a treat when it's your kid's birthday? My daycare doesn't allow homemade treats. It has to be store bought. I got a pack on individually wrapped Rice Krispy Treats. Is that enough?
that is the rule at my (elementary) school too. RK treats sound great (and easy for the teacher) also capri suns or juice boxes are popular if you wanted to do more. But with capri suns the teacher has to open them all!
It isn't weird when you have up to 120 kids in a center with various allergies. They need the ingredient list. Ours is a nut free center. I'm anal about food prep (my MIL is not and licks her hands, spoons, whatever--DS and I don't ever eat her cooking) I'm happy that daycare doesn't allow homemade items.

Do people still bring in DD Munchkins for bdays like they did when I was in elementary school? I guess they aren't nut-free though. And, I guess by store-bought they mean packaged.
