Sooo... M is crawling pretty fast now, like a speed demon, and cruising all over the furniture/holding onto stuff with one arm sometimes. His new thing is to sit on his front calves (is there a word for front calves?) and rock/bounce. Is this a precursor to standing up without supporting himself or just a cute thing that he is doing because it's fun? Also, when I put him down to stand and hold his arms, he bounces. It's pretty darn cute.
Lincoln does that a lot. He plays with things like that too, if he's tired of standing or just doesn't feel like standing up.
And the front of the calves are called shins
Haha - oh duh! Of course it's shins. That was an english-as-a-second-language moment for sure Hahaha I've been here for almost 25 years but forget words sometimes. I blame the pot smoking in my formative years
Oh yes Lillian loves doing this and sometimes she gets so excited that she face plants. She also will sit on her butt and bounce up and down. They are both very cute when she does this, minus the face plant
