How many diapers per day do you go through now? I noticed someone said they check if diaper is wet. But I don't do this. She's always some degree of wet I would say. I usually just change her after about 3 hours have passed. (unless there is a poo of course)
I don't change her overnight any more. So I'd say we use about 6 diapers per day now.
Random diaper related FFC (I'll forget by friday)- On saturday we were out and about and I completely forgot about diaper changing, she got one at 7am then not again until 3pm when I noticed she had pooped then realized I hadn't changed her all day. This is bad bad bad. I felt terrible especially since I was in whole foods at the time and had to change her in the bathroom there and she was FREAKING out, had to do a whole new outfit not to mention the poo everywhere as she tried to crawl off the table.
We're probably the same, if not a few less. I'm so bad about forgetting to change Owen. He doesn't give a lick if he's wet, so we can go hours and hours until I remember. Bad mommy.
That happened to me, don't feel bad! We were out of town on a vacation and we were go go go and finally when we sat down (after, gosh, i dont even KNOW how many hours), I noticed my pants were all wet where Camden was sitting. Yep, he was SOAKED. The diaper was so full, it was starting to leak that gel stuff. LOL. Whoops!!!
We probably go through.... about... 8-10 a day? He poops like 500 times a day, I swear.
We do about 6 a day. He is only pooping a couple times a week at this point though. We're trying to increase his solids intake so that may up the poop factor soon.

Probably about 8 per day depending on poop. Usually 1 before daycare, 5 at daycare, then 2 at home including his last nighttime diaper. More if he has a poop filled day.
On weekends I try not to go more than a few hours between diapers.
No middle of the night diaper change but when he wakes in the morning it is so full the pee is pooled because there is no place left for it to go. I am moving him up a size for nighttime.
What is "chemical pee goop"? Is that with all diaper brands? We use 7th generation diapers I don't think they have chemicals but I'm not sure.
The reason disposables work is because they have chemicals that absorb the pee and convert it to a gel.
I am pretty sure the 7th Gen diapers have chemicals in them...just not chlorine.
Period pads make my bum irritated, so I can guess the same is similar with a disposable diaper on my kids.
Cloth diapers are bulkier in general b/c they have to have enough fabric to absorb pee - not chemicals.
I do use disposables on my kids, I just don't leave them sitting in them until they are "full". I change them about every 2 hours even if it was only a little bit wet.
Geez, I don't even know. DC changes them every 2 hours unless they poop of course. And I think I probably change her about that much, maybe sooner depending on how wet it feels or right before a nap.
I'm in the 6-7 group as well. And I am HORRIBLE about forgetting to change him when we're out and about. I've actually set a timer on my phone to remember. This kid would sit in a dirty diaper all day if I'd let him.
Probably 6-8. He usually poops once a day and it's in the morning, when he wakes up and then I change him after naps. I can always tell when he's really wet, he looks like he's wearing a cup.

I'd also say 6-7 a day. At daycare he gets changed every 2 hours unless he poops, and I try to stick to that on the weekends although honestly it is probably more like every 3 hours unless he poops or has a diaper rash. And yeah, I'm another one who "forgets" to change him when we're running around. He STTN so no overnight changes.
yes mine also doesn't ever complain about being in a wet diaper. Even saturday she only started fussing because she had pooped, but without poop she'd probably have sat in it longer with no complaints.
Not really sure. Daycare checks them every hour unless they are stinky or sleeping or they can see they need a change and I do the same at home. I would say maybe 10 times.
I never changed her at night(other than the first few weeks) even when she was a little baby because she'd be wide awake if I did. Now I only change her about 6 times a day. If she's made a poopy diaper I always notice and if I don't she get's crabby so I know it time to change her.
I'd guess 5-8. it's a bigger range because some days she poops twice and its usually right after I just put a clean diaper on her. normally it's one change before every bottle and none overnight.
Now that mine has stopped pooing a million times a day (don't want to jinx it!) maybe 5-6 diapers. They are really expensive here so I don't change unless there's a poo or it's properly wet. I won't change if there's just one wee in there, is what I'm saying.
