Do you love it? We don't have one yet (I know, :-| ). We were under the impression that we were getting one for Christmas from family. Since we didn't, we are on the hunt Price isn't really a factor (but a good deal always rocks), we just want one that will grow with him and a huge plus is one that can fold up nicely as we don't have a ton of space.

We have the stokke tripp trapp and it's great. It will definitely grow with him (can be used for much older children) but it doesn't fold up so you might not like it. It also doesn't have a tray (it does, but you have to buy it separately) so it just pushes right up to your dining table. I also love that it's wooden and attractive and fits in with the rest of my dining set.

I was sold when I watched the video and saw them removing the whole seat so easily. It is SOOO easy to clean (it is bumbo-like material so it just wipes right up), the tray attaches/removes really easily, and the straps are easy to clean/take out completely if you want to throw them in the washer. I also love that it turns into a pretty cool looking chair later on that we could put next to a little desk or something for him.
We originally had a FP space saver and that sonofabitch is dead to me. HATED IT
we use the phil and teds lobster chair, it clips on the table. We like it. It comes on and off very easily, takes up no space, and the cover comes right off and can go in the laundry.
It wouldn't really grow with her though.. I mean I think it will be fine until she's old enough to just sit or kneel on a chair?
It straps on a kitchen chair, and I can just hose it off in the tub if it gets nasty. $25
We have a small house and no room for another thing with its own footprint. I also didn't want another baby thing with fabric on it. This works perfectly and is easy to use and clean. Both kids have used it. Oh - the tray fits in the dishwasher.

I dislike our Chicco one. It can accommodate big kids and folds up but it is still bulky and heavy. It has way too many crevices for food and gunk to get stuck in. The tray is really heavy. If I had to go back to 2008 I would have registered for a highchair that sits on a regular chair.
when we were in ireland, that was what was at my moms house ^^ and it worked great for both matilda and my sisters 2 year old. Easily taken off when baby isn't eating.
This. We don't have anywhere to store a highchair so we like it and it is supposed to turn into a booster.
Maybe I'm a total idiot and was missing something here but this was not more convenient for me. I'm lazy, so it ended up just staying in a chair so then we lost that chair at the table. So... I brought up a different chair from the basement and had it permanently attached to that one so it wasn't really saving and space, ya know? I dunno, I think it just wasn't a good fit for us.
It's allllriiiiight...I really loved it at first, but I've been finding that it is so hard to clean unless you take the whole thing apart...there are a lot of little crevices and places for food to fall that you can't clean with a quick wipe. Also, it folds up, but is still kind of bulky. I have been looking at the simple Ikea one, and am contemplating getting that one instead...ehh.
That is an adorable high chair! But yeah, that is why we got rid of our Space Saver too. We will use it again when he is needing a booster.

Tripp Trapp all the way!
I picked up a used one from a coworker before Butterbaby was born. I can even sit on H's in a pinch. It's seriously the only chair you'll need for your kid.

It stays on a chair but "blends in" better in our kitchen because it matches the other chairs. We have 4 chairs but only use 2 for DH and I. I also like how you can push it up to the table.
If I could go back I would probably get the Fisher Price Healthy Care Delux Booster, but a stand alone high chair is not for us.

I recommend something like this, we have the fisher price three in one and I do not like it. When dd1 was able to sit up well enough we switched to this chair, she still uses it now at three. We are using the space saver again until dd2 is a little older then will pick up another one of these.
Its nice. He sits with us at the table....thats my favorite part. And its SUPER easy to take off the table and take with us somewhere (ie. IL's, or a restaurant). Downside... it has a space between him and the table, so food goes down there a lot. And its a fabric, so when he touches his mouth covered in food to it, it leaves food. Its really easy to clean off, but obviously not as easy as a plastic cover.

We don't have this exact one, but something similar. I agree that it is a pita to clean. I recommend something that doesn't have any fabric on it. I'm also considering getting the cheapy $20 ikea one.
