another hsg question

So I will be making my appt for my HSG on day one of my next cycle (later this month). The nurse said I will prob be scheduled for the test around day 4 or 5, sometime in the early days.

Does anyone know if you can TTC the same cycle as the HSG? For example, the test shows that my tubes are in good enough shape for IUI, could I do IUI that month? Or do I have to wait another cycle?

I can call the nurse but I don't feel like it right now, lol. I thought someone here may have experience w this! Thanks!

I'm not sure about IUI, but yes to TTC. I had mine, and they were like, "Well, totally non-scientific, but a lot of people do get pregnant in the cycle of/immediately following this test, so get to it!"

I'm three cycles removed and not pregnant, but....at least I had a lot of hope for the last two!

Ok, thanks! Yeah I heard lots of people get pregnant right after their laparoscopy... not me of course, lol!

I did get pregnant the month of a SHG (very similar but u/s instead of X-ray). Didn't stick, but added to the non-scientific pool.

I was told I could. Apparently my Dr was the HSG pregnancy fairy. But it didn't do that for us.
