Finally on a computer with a free moment.

back story: SBIL1 is remarried and has 1 child (C) from previous wife. Neither SBIL or PW are great parents. The PW has 3 children none are in her custody. C is with maternal grandparents. SBIL1 is in and out of jail, moves state to state, and just all around not a great person to be around.

SMIL can't stand MIL. MOre fore jealousy reasons than anything else. Not for the reasons normal people wouldn't like MIL.

I need to state I was not here for this part. I am going by hear say.

SMIL and FIL were at her sister's house for Christmas. SBIL1 and SBIL2 were there. At some point the family started trash talking PW. FIL chimes in and makes a comment about SBIL1 being the same as PW and no one seems to think ill of him. Basically FIL tells them they can't cast stones at one parent when the other is doing the same thing. He said SBIL1 has no concern about C, just new wife and himself. This sent SBIL1 and NW into a pissed off rage. They left. SBIL2 agrees with FIL. (Which is where hell froze over)

FF to later that afternoon. We (FIL, SMIL, H, and Me) all meet back at GMIL's house. SMIL isn't talking. FIL is smiling ear to ear. Which means he's pissed in someone's cheerios. H had the stupid question of "What in the hell did you do? who did you make mad?
Then SMIL goes off.

GMIL and I are sitting back like this . H is laughing. (He does this in awkward moments) SMIL left to go watch SBIL2s kids for the night.

SMIL returns the next day for Christmas with H's side of the family. She is still pissed. Barely speaks to anyone.

Story 2.

MIL decided upon herself she is going to come to FIL's family's Christmas. No one invited her. She invited herself. H mentioned that we were doing Christmas with GMIL on Sunday. He never said a time. He had no idea she would show up. SMIL finds out (I think she overheard H and I talking)and loses it again. She is already pissed from story 1.

H is trying to defuse the situation, but it isn't going anywhere. He finally gets MIL to understand she can't come. She is no longer apart of that side of the family. She doesn't show up.

SMIL made FIL get rid of any pictures of MIL in our wedding album. None of the pictures had MIL alone in them. It was all group candid shots. FIL has nothing left of his and MIL's 20 year marriage, because of SMIL. She has a lot of her stuff from her marriage to her deceased husband. ^o)

story 3

My family.

We called my brother and SIL a month in advanced and let them know when we would be in TN for Christmas. We told them to let us know what day and time would work for us to get together with my dad. We would work something out. SIL always finds a reason to not meet with our family for one reason or another.

She had no plans and said that Saturday night would work and we would meet at my dad's around 4. She throws a fit on Friday saying it wont work for blah blah blah reasons. She came up with 20 excuses. I calmly told E to do something. In the end she showed up, but complained in true SIL fashion. She had an issue with the time. She had an issue with the restaurant that she picked.

The night went on and everything was fine. We still don't know what SIL's issue was that night. (or ever is) I think she has some sort of anxiety issues.

Not that entertaining more ^o) and 8-D worthy than anything. I am not sure how the adults in our lives act like kids and my kid acts like an adult in comparison.

oh and lets not forget the preaching SMIL kept doing. She has become really religious the last few months. Which I would be fine with if it were for the right reasons. SBIL2 is wanting to become a preacher. I have a huge issue with men who cheat on their pg wives and curse like sailors becoming holy men. I guess I am no better, since I am hardcore judging.

Our house was put on blast for the amounts of alcohol it had by my mom too. Apparently, I have a drinking problem. The only problem I have, is my friends leaving open containers at my house. I have a 3/4 full bottle of Malibu, had 1/2 bottle of Cake Vodka, 1/3 of Southern Comfort, a few frozen bags of something another, and a partial bottle of adult chocolate milk. I bought none of it. :drink:

Dude I can't stop thinking about the cake vodka. I pass a huge billboard advertising it on my way home from work, and it sounds so goooood.

Clearly, I have a problem since that's my big take away from this post

FWIW, I think it's a good thing you guys have moved away and put some distance between you and all the craziness.

I am so glad we decided to move. I really am in a better place with them so far away.
