My MIL is actually awesome, and she was just trying to help us. It just happened to play into the recent food drama.
Thank goodness she pooped. I hope we don't start all over again tomorrow, though. The nurse said it can take 2-3 days to get through having too much iron constipating a baby. I seriously never through I would be so happy to see a giant, smelly shit.

Ah, gotcha. That was nice of her to try then. What's wrong with the iron? Does she have a problem with iron or is it just because you're worried about it causing constipation? DS could not handle ANY rice cereal, but was totally fine with oatmeal. We use earth's best.
eta: and obviously not a lot of it or all the time- just a bit really might not hurt her.
