Adeline went from 5+ big soft poops a day to 1-2 hard small ones. She doesn't strain to get them out. I only know they are there from the smell, usually. But, this poop transformation happened the same day as her non sleepiness.
Could she be constipated even though there's some poop? My gut feeling (har har har) is yes. And I should get her some prunes tonight.

I was actually thinking the same thing yesterday. I wasn't sure if she was pushing more than normal and grunting because it was a hard one (hers usually aren't) and isn't used to it or if she was actually constipated. But I figured if she was still going daily then she was ok. Maybe I may give her some prunes though (maybe before DC tomorrow hehe).
Absolutely. I know Camden is blocked up when he starts doing the one little hard turd instead of a bigger/softer one. I usually give him some prunes or cut back on the applesauce and bananas... which are his favorite and he eats ALL the time.

yes, you are actually considered "constipated" according to consistency not frequency, as everyone develops their own poop pattern (hahaha first time in my life I have typed the words poop pattern)
