Laney has always hated the bottle but it has gotten really bad lately. Today she only drank 1/2oz!
I nurse her in the morning between 6-8am (depending on when she wakes up)
I come home at lunch and nurse her around 12:30
I get home and nurse her around 5:30
The babysitter (I work MWF) offers her a bottle around 10 and 230 but she usually refuses it completely or only drinks .5-2oz.
I know she is hungry because the days that I am home she nurses at those times.
She doesn't eat very much solid food either so I don't think she is trying to cut back due to that (actuallu I'm worried about her solid food intake as well but that's another story)
Plus she is still nursing every 2-3 hours overnight.
Natalie started refusing a bottle at 4 months and we worked on introducing a sippy cup. She took pumped milk from the sippy after some practice with water. Do you think she might drink from a cup? I wouldn't worry too much because I bet she is making up for it by drinking more when you come home and she nurses. I know it can be stressful though...good luck!

This could be random advice but someone in my IRL moms group had this problem and their daughter ended up drinking milk off of a spoon from one of those spoons that dispense baby food... I hope you know what I'm talking about... so I figured I'd throw it out there.
hmmm interesting. I haven't thought to try a sippy- she does know how to use one. And I also have one of those spoons so that could work too! Thanks ladies! I'm just worried she isn't getting enough food/nurtrion because she eats so little and she is starting to look thinner (which I know can be normal at this age too)
also Trudy! Love your new (?) siggy!! Haven't seen it before
So does she eat 4 times during the day? Then a couple more at night? That could be plenty assuming she is happy and having wet diapers I am sure she is fine!
Now if you could get her to eat more during the day, she might go longer between feeds at night!
