Well, that's good. A girl after my own heart. When I am back on dairy, I plan on double fisting some cheese, too. I am over spoon feeding because she protests too much. What else will you offering her?
It really clicked with us two days ago. She now has to have something to hold onto if I'm going to even try to give her purees. I've been giving her a mum mum or extra spoon to hold onto to try and keep her happy if we're doing purees. It's kind of fun to watch her feed herself and she tried to give me a piece of her toast tonight, which was cute.
The only other finger food I've tried to give her was some scrambled egg yolk. I might try hard boiled one night this week and then maybe ground meat. I am just not ready for her to be feeding herself chunks of fruit and veggies yet. The idea gives me anxiety.
I alluded to this in the onenicething thread, but I feel like we are solids sisters. I have major anxiety over it also. I tried to give her minuscule pieces of ground turkey and pulled chicken, but she immediately spit them both out with a look of disgust.
