Because I have a shit ton of it :/ I cleaned out the freezer this morning and we have 4(!) bags of it. Blerg. I don't really want to eat it without, like, cooking it in something. Any ideas? TIA
Shrimp fried rice Shrimp tacos Shrimp salad (either over lettuce or in a wrap/sandwich) Shrimp in pasta (fettuccine alfredo, or with a spicy red sauce, or scampi) You could just thaw the cooked shrimp and eat them with cocktail sauce Shrimp enchiladas Shrimp kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup...
Cook it with a bit of butter, a chopped onion and celery. When it is cooked, put in one or two cut up eggplants (eggplant? eggplants? hmmm) and let them stew down for 30 minutes (or as long as you want...cannot over cook). Shake some Tony Chachere's seasoning into pot and serve over rice, or just by itself. Easy and delicious
Thanks everyone! I should clarify, I really like shrimp (bad Jew), but I'm iffy on the frozen variety (snob). I'm going to try some of these ideas, though
