Whine: My body hurts from all the gardening I've been doing, the back of my thighs ache and my arms are floppy tired.
Wine: My sore muscles mean I am out doing something active which has been much needed. The girls and I got the tomatoes and strawberries planted yesterday, we have a ton more to plant today.
Whine: I spent hours looking for a job yesterday, and found a lot of depressing options.
Wine: I am feeling in my groove as a SAHM. I implemented a few new things this week (timers, clothes out the night before, cooking breakfast) , and the best part, pumpkin has been napping up to an hour twice a day! He is still up for an hour or two in the middle of the night, but I feel so much more ahead of the game during the day.
Whine: I have a lot on my plate right now, including a new online human biology class, my PT job, some clients and a bunch of personal/logistical stuff, especially between now and next Wed/Thurs.
Wine: I have a live baby in me and we're going on a road trip to tell family!

Whine: My house still looks like a shitstorm of Christmas flew through. Must fix that tonight.
Wine: A and I are taking off a few days for a long weekend (Fri and Mon). This is a big deal since they work her ass off at that place and time off is hard to get. We are taking our first trip away to my very favorite beach in the Northwest. She has never been there and I am SO excited to take her!
Wine: hes been sleeping through the night for almost 2 weeks now! Nothing the sleep center did helped. They said nothing but CIO would work. I told him about the hernia and he (pedi neurologist) said "I don't see it so its fine". I spoke to his surgeon and she was like "he said WHAT?! No!! It's not fine to leave him crying and unchecked! It could be fatal!" And then he slept through the night.

That. Is. Crazytown!! So if a sleep doctor can't feel a hernia, it doesn't exist??
So glad you are all getting some sleep!!! Let me know if you need anything while N is recovering - happy to help any way I can!
Whine: The visit with bio mom fell through (she didn't return a phone call or something?) on Friday. Our SW said she would call Monday to "talk about this whole case" and guess what? She never called and won't/can't return our phone calls/emails. It's hard to get too mad, knowing she has at least 28 cases right now...but still.
Wine: My mom came over today and we crafted! See FB.

Right?! Crackhead. He also referred to N's sperm donor as a surrogate. um..? K couldn't stand him. She could barely make eye contact with him.
Thanks for the offer, I'll let you know. When he's back to normal, let's plan a play date. I can't believe how long it's been since we've gotten together.
Whine: I am so exhausted. I didn't plan well so I don't get my thyroid levels checked until 1/21 (I was supposed to have them checked last week or this week), although I suspect it's lack of sleep and not the thyroid.
Wine: Things have been really good between C and me. So much so that I've never set up the counseling appointment we agreed upon. We're still going to go, but it's nice.
