I have never seen this show before but I got distracted and didn't change the channel last night after RHOC. The main lady in the show - Rosie Pope - does she always talk like that? She sounds like a little kid with a lisp.
That's her real voice. It's really annoying, but she's really cute. I felt so bad for the husband in last night's episode. I'm so glad Rosie stuck up for him. I wouldn't want to help or hang out with my wife either if I were him if she was always such a freakin nightmare.

I admit I did like the show - she seems to have some interesting clients. I also felt bad for the husband. And I've never seen 2 people fight to be Godmother before.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
As far as her "accent" goes, I think she's finally come to terms with the fact that it's a speech problem. On Watch What Happens Live the other night, she said that she's started doing speech therapy and feels like she is making improvements.

Usually I am just a lurker but I have to agree a million percent with you. I would be a workaholic too if I was married to someone like that wife. You could tell with the robobaby that the Dad actually wanted to help and try to calm it down but she just wouldn't have it. I really hope that once Max, their little boy, is around the Mom calms down some and lets Dad help out.

She did mention in a recent episode that she was beginning speech therapy. It was distracting for me at first because I just couldn't put my finger on it, but I find her charming now.
