If so, how long did it take for your cycles to get semi-normal again? If you took it out to TTC, and you don't mind answering, how long did it take for you to get pregnant?
Eeeeee! I have no answers. I just like that you are asking. You make adorable kids.
This! I have no answers but good luck!
Thanks for the words of encouragement, I can use them at this point! Even after two kids, this feels like a big step and I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing.
I don't really want to TTC for about a year (shouldn't be hard to avoid for the first six months since DH lives on a different continent,) but once I leave for Romania I don't plan to come back to the States until summer 2014 and I don't want to have my IUD removed there.
I'm getting mine removed but not to TTC. I am considering moving to Paraguard, only because the doctor I saw recently seems to think that my PCOS dx was wrong or that it is in remission or something. If that is the case, I'd like to deal with the insulin resistance and be hormone free.
I was under the impression that you could start trying as soon as the IUD comes out; one of my best friends conceived 2 months after her IUD was removed (it was removed due to pregnancy w/IUD which led to a loss. But her son is here now and he's adorable )

Yeah, in theory one is supposed to be able to conceive right away. I was just curious about how long it should take for things to get back to normal after. I want to chart to TTA for a while, but I'll need my cycle to regulate first. Also, silly as it is, I'm considering trying the Shettles Method. My daughter really wants a sister and I wouldn't mind another girl so I figure it is worth a shot.

Shettles got the same friend her son, after two girls. The way she explained the science it makes sense. Go for it!
