Sorry to ask this here but the Food Board is quite dead.

Quick question. I am making shrimp lettuce wraps for dinner tonight, would it be weird if i added spinach to the shrimp, it will just wilt and blend right in, correct? I want it to be a bit more filling and I have fresh spinach in the fridge.

Sure, why not? I put spinach in some quesadillas last night. It was an easy way to add some more veggies to my meal!

I add spinach to just about everything I cook. It's practically flavorless and has a lot of great nutrients. I say go for it!

Totally. I prefer it raw for crunch...but its fine cooked too.

I throw spinach into a lot of things to use it up. That Costco box is big! Raw or wilted would be fine.

Really? It's not like spinach is some weird, hard to find, rarely used uncommon ingredient...lol.

We eat a lot of spinach here. Mostly raw, but I do toss it in a casserole if I need to use it up or when I do stuffed shells.
