From crawling to pulling to stand..

Well we've gone from crawling to pulling up to stand in 1 1/2 weeks time. This morning at work she was in the play pen and all the sudden she got really excited so I looked over and she was standing, hanging onto the playpen for dear life, but so excited. Of course two seconds later she fell and it was major tears. All I've got to say is I don't think we'll have any peace in our house anymore, nothing will be safe.

Good for your little one! Yeah - nothing is safe! DD's favorite past time is pulling things off of the coffee table or banging on it with her hands.

Owen pulled to stand before he crawled. And just today he figure out how to stand up in his crib. Heaven help me.

Awesome! This is a fun milestone but at the same time it's crazy. M has been pulling himself up since late October and I am going nuts. This is HARD! I am always exhausted. At least he is not falling all the time and hitting his head anymore and is a lot more stable but it's still very physical for me and exhausting. I actually can't wait until he walks, somehow I feel like it will be a little bit of a relief.

I think we're half way there with baby proofing but I've still got things to clean up and move.. that being said we'll also be teaching her that something are not supposed to be touched but only looked at. We'll see how that goes.
