Did you give anything with it to make it easier on the tummy? I was thinking some organic yoghurt if she will eat it. I have sick baby with brochiolitis and a beginning ear infection here who is not feeling well to begin with so I don't want to make her tummy worse with the meds. This is my first time ever giving an antibiotic to either of the kids.
When b had her ear infection I did give her yogurt. It was just around 6mo so it was really early for yogurt but she seemed to like it well enough. Next time shes on abx I wont hesitate to give her yogurt.
My kid is on amoxicillin for an ear infection. I don't give anything with it and he's been fine. The first time the syringe came out he flipped his shit cuz he hates medicine. Then he got some in his mouth and freaked out, he loves the taste! Now when I come at hom with the medicine he crys until he gets it, and gets pissed when its gone. He's my little weirdo.
DS just finished 10 day s of cefdinir for an ear infection (he reacted to augmentin so we had to use an even harsher med this time).
I gave bio gaia baby probiotics, lots of oatmeal and rice cereal to prevent runny acidic poop, and used diaper cream with every change. His tummy was fine, but his poor bum was so red. It is finally starting to clear up.

We just started a round last night, but as a preemptive measure, I gave her yogurt and bananas today, and will probably alternate those with some oatmeal until she's finished, because she did poop a lot more often the one other time I had to do it. The last time was for an ear infection, but she was not old enough for solids for us, so I didn't do anything.
L is finishing up amox for a sinus infection. I give her probiotics regularly. I gave her some yogurt but not a lot. Lillian always has stomach issues but for some reason she has been pooping less while on the antibiotics.
Sadie just finished clindamycin, which is notorious for giving butt problems. We have her yogurt every day and bm. No probiotics, and she didn't have any problems.

That's the one antibiotic I couldn't get into Ansley at all. Luckily, she got tubes and they told us just not to bother. Hopefully we don't have to worry about them for a while. I always give her some yogurt, plus her cereal have probiotics. We never had tummy issues with them. The Dr did say to give her Lactinex granules to help too. You can get them behind the pharmacy counter

LO was on Zithromax for ears, and she had terrible blowouts (I'm talkin 4-5 a day) for 5 days! I gave her Greek yogurt and bananas. By the time I thought about a probiotic, she was about over it.

This, except I just made sure ds ate at least 1/2 a container of Gerber yogurt each day. He still has a few red patches on his rear.
