I often wonder, after reading articles like this, if we as a country can do more for PP issues. Obviously PP Psychosis is extreme, but what about all the women with PPD or PPA?

When SST was a few months old, a guy in Belgium (I think) went into a day care and stabbed two infants and a woman to death. Reading about that story hit me so hard. I literally could not sleep and thought about those babies for days on end.

I dunno if any of you remember the "Baby Grace" story from out of Galveston, but local news coverage of that had me waking up crying in the middle of the night for weeks. My husband pretty much said not to watch the local news anymore at all because all it covers is child abuse. I listened for a while and then the 1st time I watched after the hiatus, they had a story about a little boy who was adopted by a family after his birth mother castrated him. That was it. Haven't watched local news since.
