I'm not really feeling it. It's at Target. I applied one night when I was feeling really upset about money and I'm just not that enthusiastic about working there.
I have been talking to someone about another great job opportunity that I would really enjoy and I'd rather work that job, but she's looking at other applicants, so it's not guaranteed yet.

I like Louie's dad's advice and try to do the same thing. You could always go and get a feel for the place and who's interviewing you. If you get a call back you can turn it down.
However, my brother's exgirlfriend used to work at Target and she really liked it because of the discount. I think she got 10% off which was nice since she shopped there often. Just something to think about!
I'm for sure taking Louie's dad's advice. I wouldn't hate working there, it's just not my first choice. But the discount would ROCK because I shop there all the time.
What my dad would say: "You don't have to accept every job, but you have to go to every interview."
Consider it practice.
This exactly. My mom has been telling me that for three weeks now.
My philosophy after 9 yrs in hell: Don't settle for something your not going to love( or at least like a lot) it will only make you miserable mean spirited grumpy person in the end.

Otter, I understand what you are going through and I agree with everyone else. You do not have to accept the job, but the interview will be good practice.
Even if you choose to accept it, the first 90 days are always a trial and you can reject the job at anytime and not have to explain. I worked at one job while still applying elsewhere and now I have 2 jobs I really like.
