We have Time Warner but the bill is high. We are thinking of switching. What pros/find do you see with the other 2 options, if you use them. I'm leaning towards DirectTV but I'm not sure.
We have directv. We like it. They jack up prices after two years. Honestly, if it wasn't for espn, this is what we would do: get a digital antenna for the local channels and use our roku box to stream Netflix/Hulu plus/amazon streaming.

We just switched from time Warner to u verse and have been happy, it isn't available in all areas though. But here is a tip, we did the usual call twc to get the bill lowered and they said no. BUT after we had uverse installed, we took our cable box to the store to turn in, they were begging us not to cancel, said they would price match uverse. We have gotten calls and emails. I hate, hate, that business model of not rewarding loyalty (I was a customer for 7 years) but if you just want a lower bill, take the box in and say you wish to cancel. You will get a bargain .

We just went back to Comcast cable after having Dish for 3 years and Direct for 4 years before that. Our cable gives a way better quality picture than satellite did. Dish would go out every time it rained. They did drop AMC right when the new season of Breaking Bad was starting but brought it back like at the last episode. Grrrr. Anyway, Dish does have AMC now.
