I'm super glad to hear other people back me up on the yellow! Thank you for the support!
Secondly, I completely forgot to mention that we're re-finishing the blue bathtub to white. I'm now picturing my bathroom: yellow walls, with gray tile, and a blue tub. Haha. Super hideous.

I love black and white bathrooms. I dream of using this insane wallpaper in my future bathroom when we own a place. But this probably isn't what you're going for . I really like bold wallpaper in bathrooms.

I love black and white bathrooms too! I dream of our future powder room bathroom looking like Sephora.
I would keep the walls neutral, like a light grey. then play with color for accents. I like grey and teal. I like 3 color tones. I'd do grey, teal and white colors.

Our master bathroom is very spa-like. Beige and white . . . . kind of boring if you ask me. Andrew's bathroom is teal with white and black pop-art styled accents. Our half bath is a deep asian orangey red that I LOVE. DH doesn't like it too much, but we get SO many compliments on it that he's learned to shut up.
My entire house is gray, black and white so i a, biased. Most of the walls are all gray with exception of the living room, dining room and kitchen. I tried what felt like hundreds of grey paint from various manufacturers and my fave is the " Dolphin Fin" card from Home Depot...nearly my whole house is painted in the three grays on the card.
My bathroom is light blue tile with gray veining and the walls are light gray ( they were blue). I love it. The room is much brighter.
I would go with grey walls and do accents of the yellow with accessories, artwork and towels.
I always buy those little sample jars and test the color out before painting the whole room. That way you can see what it looks like in various lighting. Have fun!!!!
Wallpaper is a fun option, too. Last year, we put while with grey veined marble tile down in my office. I went with wallpaper instead of paint. Here it is under construction:
We redid our bathroom a bit (retailed and painted) right before I got pregnant. The walls are a seafoam green (I call it toothpaste green) and I love it. It's a big room but dark and it made things so much brighter. Ill pip when I get to a computer
