Aww, thanks everyone! I ran today and at the end I thought I would DIE, but I made it Mile 25 killed me and it surprised me how emotional I got crossing the finish line. I am not sure if I will ever do another marathon again but I am happy to say that I have ran one.
And I have been MIA lately from the internet. Living out in the country we are limited to a few internet service providers and all of them REALLY restrict our usage hours. With all the Christmas photos I had to upload over the holidays we used up all our internet by the 15th of December The new month for internet usage didn't restart until Jan 10 so I had to take a forced break. It was kind of nice to have a technology break but I feel like I lost touch with the outside world, LOL. Glad to be back!

Say what? How does that even work? I have not heard of usage restrictions since the dial-up days. Do you only get a certain number of hours a month or is it restricted by downloads, etc.? Educate me about this foreign country called Texas in which you live!

I know, I know. It sucks. There is no cable out where we live. Or pizza delivery. Our schools. Or stoplights. Or much of anything else. Ha
Anyway, it's either a hot spot through the cell phone companies for the internet (which is what we have) or satellite internet (which we did have and is pretty much as fast as dial up). They monitor our usage through downloads and with the amount of photos I had to upload, our internet ran out a few days in.
However, if I get really desperate for the internet when we go over our usage, I spend a lot of time at McDonalds at the next town up since they have free wifi.

Ha. I gotta get outta of this place!
Wow, that is rough! I'd probably be hanging out at McD's way too often if it wasn't for the kids.
On a different note, your surgery is coming up, right? Are you super excited about it now that the marathon is behind you?
