Our 6 year old cat has never been a puker or even a hairballer, but in the past couple of weeks she has thrown up probably 5 or 6 times. Is this worthy of a vet visit? Any other ideas or advice?

I probably would take her in. I'm assuming that her diet hasn't changed at all, but have you added new treats or anything like that? When you take her, you should let the vet know if it seems to be undigested food (immediately after eating) or whether it's more digested. Also, pay attention to her poops. Undigested food plus not pooping could be a sign of an obstruction, which is definitely an emergency.
