A little scare

Aye...

Owl used the bathroom and after I helped her wipe, stood in there for 15-20 minutes while J and I waited for her in the living room. J peeked around the corner a couple times to check on her, she finally followed J out after J passed the bathroom walking through the hallway.

I went to the car to look for something and asked J if Owl was with her in the kitchen when I got back inside because I didn't see her in the living room, J said no that Owl had followed me outside. We panicked and both ran around looking for her, she wasn't outside/kitchen/living room/bathrooms/kids rooms. I turned around to go outside through our bedroom again and saw her laying in the pack n play at the foot of our bed, she had put herself down for a nap when I went outside the first time.

Can I admit that selective mutism sucks?

*Yes she stayed in the bathroom for 15-20 minutes, we are supposed to let her make her own choices as long as they are safe.

How scary! Glad you found her in the pack and play - that'd probably be the last place I'd think to look.
