I'm from the US, and up until last week, was on a mission to conquer every continent in the next few years. My weapons of choice are my camera and the English language.
Up until last week? Does that mean you succeeded?!
I don't know a lot of people who've been to Antarctica, and I'd love to talk about it!
Unfortunately no, but that would have been awesome. We've lived on three continents in the last three years, and have plans to move to a fourth later this year.
However, I just found out that we're expecting our first child, and the move would be for my work, and I know in some countries, it's just policy for your contract to be terminated if you become pregnant. Rather than risk that , we're just going to head back to the US for a while.
I don't know if we'll ever really be able to settle down, but it'd be nice to be a little less nomadic, at least until the child is old/big/strong enough to carry his/her own pack.
Antarctica is definitely on my list to conquer, although it will likely be a shorter version.. as in a vacation, rather than to trying to live and teach there for a year
