Help me pick my new haircut

I feel like I've been such a post whore lately. Sorry. Anyway, I think I'm going to cut my hair off today. I'm just sick of it and need a change. So help me pick what I'm going to do!

My hair is naturally thick and straight. I don't spend any time on it. These days, it's usually in a ponytail. I'm not a fan of short bangs in me, but I'm fine with sweeping bangs that can be pinned out of the way if needed.

I even included a scary picture. This is me, au natural. No makeup, no hair products. Hell, I don't even brush it. I need a change!!

I have a bob... the one that is long in the front, short in the back. I also have sweeping bangs and I pin them up ALL the time! Also... I can easily pull the front pieces back

Or pull an Ernie and pixie.

I had a pixie for a while and loved it, but I think DH would have a heart attack. He likes short hair, but HATES pixies. (He had a crush on this girl YEARS ago who had a pixie cut. Then she decided to be a lesbian one day, out of the blue. Then she decided she wanted to be a dude. And now she is. I think it scarred him for lyfe) I don't make my fashion choices for him, but I will at least stay away from too-short cuts to be nice.

I'm thinking of a Kristin Cavallari type bob. Because my hair is so think, it has no body when it's long. When I go shorter, it has more life in it.



Also, I'm going to color it. Kind of a golden blonde with fuchsia streaks. I've been keeping it "normal colored" because I've been looking for work and wanted to stay professional. Nobody's calling, so fuck them. I'm going back to pink.

Might as well have fun with color while you can! I wanted to do those rainbow colored tips before I chopped all my hair off. I might get a stripe next time, in something demi-permanent.

I like this! I've always wanted to do something like this, but my hair is sooooooooooooo thick and frizzy I think I would look like I had a bowl on my head. I think now that hubby is back to normal pay I am going to ask him to fund a hair make over for me!

I'm gonna cut my hair soon into a bob and I'm excited. I have thin hair so I think it will look better. I don't know too much about thick hair but if you can pull it off, I think a bob would look great on you!

As a fellow fine-haired lass, I have a feeling you'll like the bob. It's what I was rocking pre pixie and I adored it.

I agree with this! I had an a line bob for 3 years and it's such an easy haircut.

I've always wanted to go pixie short but I still get breakouts, so my hair is sort of a security blanket for me so I can hide my face if needed.
