Ehhh. I dunno. Face-wise, yes, but Stephenie Meyer always described Edward as an Adonis-type. Very un-like RPattz IMO. I always had a different guy in my head (and I always heard Edward with an English accent in my head when I read the books).

having watched both gossip girl and twilight (wow, flameful much?) I don't think he'd be a good Edward. He's too short and for the most part I think his face can be a little 'soft' (girly?). He's perfect for the role on GG, but I don't think he'd be very convincing as Edward.

Yeah, in that photo he looks great (I had a huge Chuck Bass crush for 2 years there). I still never thought Robert Pattinson was quite right. I thought he was a super cutie in HP Goblet of Fire, but so obviously a guy who reddens easily...a fact that is painfully obvious in the first movie. I was annoyed he didn't buff up a bit either, scrawny little thing, wouldn't have made me gasp when he took off his shirt (And by the way, why is Ed Westwick the only guy on GG who has made NO attempt to buff a little...in the infamous pool lparty, he had a bit of a gut!)
