Also, in the line of "your feedback is important to us", EllieA is taking requests for features/wants/things missing etc.

At the moment, she's going to be re-adding pagination to the bottom of threads, changing the available "skins", putting all our smileys back (apparently some of them didn't make the transition), etc.

Whoops I just saw this post. I posted this in the other discussion regarding the new format:

I like the look but I don't like that limited size it can be viewed. I don't view the forums at a full screen size and in the old version when the screen was small the forums to select from on the left could be kept out of the view of the window using the slide bar at the bottom. Now when I shrink my window I have to keep them (which is a bunch of white space farther down a post) and the post/reply window gets smaller. I also loose the last updated by and time in the homepage when viewed in a smaller window. It would be really nice if they could make the post a minimum fixed width...and along that line a maximum would be good too to keep those massive pictures people post from making the text in the rest of the post from going on an on for miles. Is there a place I can suggest this besides here?

It doesn't work well on my work computer. None if the CSS works. It's just white with blue links. Very disappointing!

cajun, there's a fix for that. Are you able to make changes to your computer yourself?

A few more...

There is a bubble with a 1 in it saying I have a message but all of my messages are old. I went through and re-clicked on all of them so it would think they were all read but it didn't go away until I archived all of my messages.

When I post a reply it labels the post as "new" even though I'm the only new reply.

The run time is super slow compared to the old version and when I have multiple tabs open and try to reply it gives me a run time error.

Fox - everyone's seemed to be reporting the message bubble glitch. What worked for me is clicking on the actual bubble. Others seem to report that refreshing a couple times while in the message area helps.

I'll report the "new" thing to Ellie. I think that's fixable.

I tried adding those as trusted, but it didn't work. When I try going to those pages directly, I get an "Ad blocked" error.

It's a bit slow for me also, but I figured it would be better in a few days when they're done making changes.

I've noticed occasional slowness, but I think that's to be expected while all the follow-up changes are made. Hopefully they'll work all the kinks out shortly.

Cajun, you might try posting on the Help board. I'm no good with the technical aspect of this - although I can C&P a response, that's about it.

As for issues, yeah I'm timing out a lot which stinks.

Also can anyone tell me how to make sure the subboards are displayed with the main board. I don't like having to click over to the subboard to see if there are new topics.

pitterwoo - Ellie added the "new" functionality to the subboards. Hopefully that will help?

sierra - I think your option is to hide all signatures or none. Sadly. I don't know if hiding just your own is even an option Ellie can add.

Why can't I see all the pictures on the app? If I open in safari then I can see them all.
