These aren't really trends per se, but they're starting to make regular appearances.
Classic (and ancient!) patterns. Hatin' on the chevron. It's been around for thousands of years! I also love Greek key which I've been seeing popping up everywhere (which is good because I've been holding on to some pieces) and waves which have also been sneaking into design lately.
Alternate uses of color, going beyond monochromatic and complementary. There's a whole world of colors and combinations out there, and it seems like people are finally starting to realize that.

LOL, sailor. I'm very traditional so the more modern trends don't appeal to me. I appreciate the look though. I think mid-century modern looks really cool but I wouldn't copy the style myself.
I dig undermount sinks too! Pretty and now that I have one...practical too! I like that a lot of people are turning to HD countertops instead of granite etc. Still pretty, sturdy and so much more affordable. I like that playrooms are meant for playing and family rooms are meant for families. So many cute family friendly ideas out there in that department lately. It used to be "Hide all the things! No one shall ever no you have a child a or eat Chinese Food and watch reality TV on your couch!" Headboards made out of all sorts of things. Wingbacks seem to be on the return..I appreciate. Simple bathrooms. There were time bathrooms were overdecorated with jars, plants and crap in general. So many cute throw pillows out these days too!

I'm embarrassed to admit I'm not exactly sure what's trendy anymore. It seems that things are becoming more and more eclectic, which IMO is a good thing.
I like that not every finish has to be ORB anymore and other options are acceptable. I like the current "trend" to preserve a historic property instead of revamping it to look more modern. I like that jewel tones seem to be trending back towards popular again.

munkii, love the velvet chairs in that photo. The desk and desk chair are NMS but now I'm lusting after purple velvet chairs. Which are, you know, so very practical with three shedding animals in the house.
There are plenty that I love or like (just see the other post), but one "trend" that gets some hate on this board that I like are mixed use rooms (ie, H*T mud/dining/laundry room). I like the idea of just taking a house and really making it function for your family.
I'm liking and feeling inspired by more simple looks like pitterwoo.
Real brass Mixed metals bright patterns pops of color in otherwise neutral rooms rustic anything
I've lived long enough to have learned that I like just about everything....it just depends on how it is put together.
I've seen individual things that I like put together in ways that looked horrible, and things that I thought I didn't like put together in ways that made me appreciate them.
Everything has potential, but not everyone knows what to do with it. ;p
Btw, I was at Target today and found so many things that I loved, and with every one that I looked at I wondered if the 'haters' of late had seen it. lol
Real brass (Remember when I posted this on TN in 2011? And most people recoiled in horror and "never will I ever.")
And I'm not sure if this is a trend or if it's a change in my own style, but I'm seeing less painted yard sale items/Ikea furniture/ hot glue projects and more items of genuine quality. I think people are just so over the recession and they've learned you can only make do for so long and it often doesn't work all that well.
"New Traditional" like a great wing chair but in a bold fabric or a Victorian wood chest painted an unexpected color. Moroccan/Trellis patterns (H hates this because it reminds him of a tile he had as a child, but I'm glad it came back) Wallpaper that's a bold twist on a traditional style...like bright, large print damask Fabric on Walls Mixing metals and the movement away from matchy-matchy in general Industrial pieces mixed in with traditional pieces

Ooh, love to see the brass love. I was thinking of putting antique brass hardware throughout the house when we change our doors (years away, my God it's pricey).
When we bought our house, the fireplace came with a brass screen & irons. My in-laws got as antique, matching brass accessories. Honestly, it looks really classic. I'm glad I didn't go after it all with the ORB spray paint.
