Confessions/Vents/Randoms

Confession - I discovered this morning that I like the taste of instant coffee.  A lot.  Maybe more than brewed.   :-#

Vent - R discovered this morning that none of his "dress" pants fit (they're all too big) - and we have his work banquet tomorrow night.  Which means I'm going to be hitting Goodwill tonight and if I can't find him something, I'm going to wind up at JCP tomorrow morning.  WHY did he not try these things on when I had more than 1 day to find him something???  Argh.

Random - Our new appraisal is this afternoon at 2pm.  Our realtor is going to be attending.  I'm so nervous, it's ridiculous.  Like, sick to my stomach nervous.

Sad: I had my first mole scraped and sent to pathology yesterday. I'm really hoping it's NBD and they can leave the rest of it intact.

Random: I went to Camp Gladiator (a boot camp-style workout) last night for the first time, and when I woke up this morning it felt like my back muscles were on fire. I took 2 Aleve!

Random: I'm feeling really down today. Not sure why. I just want to be happy.

My H does that too, j. Most recently? We had to go buy AND HAVE ALTERED a new suit about 36 hours before his Grandma's funeral. Never mind that I have been bugging him to take care of making sure he has a proper suit for the past 2-3 years.

Vent: I am really annoyed with my ILs and their shower planning (which sounds rude, LOL, given that they are throwing me a party). But, MIL originally offered and said she was planning on something in January. Great!

Now it has dragged out for weeks (months?), they still have not totally set a date, and are trying for February 9, which is 3 weeks away. Except since there's no location, I know they haven't sent invitations. (I know this, because I got 4 emails and a text on Tuesday asking about possible locations.) And by the time they get invitations in the mail and people receive them, it's going to be really late. They are nice people, but OMG, they are SO SLOW to decide anything and it drives me crazy. And I'm going to be 36 weeks pregnant at that point, and had to talk them out of the next weekend or later.

My MIL called DH yesterday and asked what color we painted our bathroom. She loves to shop so DH is fearing she is buying us stuff.. specially when he doesn't share the same taste with her at all!

ETA: She never gives gift receipts.. like ever!

My son's "6TH" birthday is tomorrow and he has no idea nor gets excited when we tell him. We are constantly reminded of his autism even when we try to keep life as normal as possible...

Today is our 4th anniversary!

I'm mad at my H. This morning I hurt my shoulder and was all, "OWWW!" He had he decency to ask if I was alright, but continued to sit in the living room and hang out with the dog. He did apologize, but, seriously, if someone (you wife!) is in pain, check on her.

vent: i'm home sick today and had to cancel a meeting that took 2-3 x to get set to accomodate higher-up's schedules and have a meeting room available. now we won't have another chance until next month! we will be another month behind on my project.

My husband just got back from a MRI and may need shoulder surgery....My Mom fell at the nursing home and hit her head and is having a CAT scan this afternoon....and my Uncle is in the hospital with internal bleeding and may die....Mom and Uncle live 4 hours away...Everything at once.

Salsa, I'm really sorry, that's so hard.

My random:  I have to make a call to follow up on a job lead.  I'm sooo nervous!  I really want to move on and I'm so excited that this could be a good fit.  Aaaah!

I decided to start watching my calories again and I hate it. I need to just find time to exercise instead of eating like a normal person.

Just in case you didn't already figure it out, worst time to start a diet is on your period. Ugh.
