Why not paint the same color as in pic2? It seems like (on my monitor at least) that those blue curtains would look fine with it. Can you post another pic with the curtain next to that paint color?
I am not digging the green either.

i actually think it will look fine. but, if you are uncomfortable with the way it looks, you definitely need to check other samples of colors. did you try the green on a wall closer to the one with the red, as well as the other one?

Thanks for the input.   What's the biggest issue?  (1)  Matching other rooms (2) just an ugly color (3) doesn't look good with curtains?

I don't see any green in the curtains, so I'm not sure where you are pulling this color from.  I don't really know what else to suggest; the blue from the other rooms would look really cute but I see in another reply you're wanting a new wall color...?  I think the house would flow really well with the same paint color and would accent the curtains nicely.

I think the green will be fine in the kitchen. It's much easier to pick a color if you don't have to work with a specific fabric. I think the green is really pretty. Which brand is it?

I actually like the green. While it might not be in the actual fabric of the curtains, I think it goes well with them.

Oh I love this! I found the pic of the paint with everything neutral and it's going to turn out really nice!
