Health insurance is a huge pain. COBRA is often really expensive. Does Indiana offer any sort of state sponsored plan? I was on a basic Minnesota one for a while many years ago and it was affordable... At the time it was only for people who had been denied from other options, but I applied for Blue Cross Blue Shield and was denied due to a pre-existing condition, and because of that I was eligible for the MN plan.
So excited for you!! I'm going to check out that health insurance website myself, now that I'm going to be self-employed. I'm on C's plan now, but the gay tax, plus difficulties with making people understand that we are MARRIED, is a big PITA.
I didn't know K was a secret Walmart maverick trying to change things from the inside - that's kinda badass.
Double girl nursery...yay! Kid room designing is so effing fun
Yep, she's educated hundreds of people on sexual harassment, helped single mothers get promotions, encouraged people to go back to school, given away thousands of dollars and merchandise to local schools, and basically is just awesome at her job. I know the higher she goes, the more people she'll be able to help. I can't wait to see what else she accomplishes!
