We know NOTHING about them, so we're waiting for more information. Plus, I'd have to quit my PT job (my mom can't baby-sit 3 under 3) and find medical insurance, buy a new car that fits 3 carseats, buy 2 more carseats, 2 more cribs, etc. Lots to do before we make a final decision! But... I want them.
Obviously once you know more that could sway you one way or the other. Is TTC still on the table? And how would that influence your plans? Could you see yourself with 4 under 4?
We used to prop each of them in a Boppy and then sit down between them and just hold a bottle in each hand. Or out and about, leave them strapped into the stroller and hold one bottle in each hand. Or prop with blankets. But now they can hold their own bottles, which is awesome.
I never take them both to the store! That would be maaaaaaadness. Although when one can sit in the seat and the other in the cart-part, it would be OK. We just wait until one of us can stay home with them to shop.
FWIW - I've always taken the kids shopping solo. There were stages where is was a GIANT PITA and I always forgot something, but timing helped. I found Sunday mornings the best time - the store wasn't crowded, the kids had just eaten, and they weren't ready for naps. The carts with the cars on the front can either be a blessing or a curse (ie. entertainment or fodder for "you are too close to me. Stop touching me....") Engaging the kids helps a lot (even now.) It can be done.

yup! we did the boppy thing too - though kids are off bottles around 1 so it wasnt an issue for long.
and total ditto on the store. I do a lot of stuff with my kids solo, but grocery shopping is by far the worst. First of all, when you have 3 kids, there is little room for any actual groceries in the cart, and its just too hard to pay attention to the shopping when you've got 3 kids to watch. That being said, I will run in for quick things (milk, eggs, bread) and to do that I wear Daisy in the Ergo and put the big kids in the cart. I HATE those car carriages because the kids inevitably fight, yell because they think I'm far away, or climb out at inconvenient times.
Trust me, EVERYTHING else is easier than grocery shopping
Well, I have the 2-girl-nursery designed in my head. It's cute. I need to bring my mom into the conversation, because she does so much child care for us. Thanks for your input, everyone! I'm scared and excited.

How exciting! Any chance of going on Katie's plan? I'm on C's and we just suck it up and pay the extra taxes. She could add me to her plan for $100 a month, plus $800 in extra taxes for the year, so about $167 a month. Obviously this depends on her employer, but more employers than you might think offer it.
