I jinxed myself. I told someone like a week ago that the flu hasn't been bad at the school I work at, and that I've even avoided getting sick (not even a cold!) all year.
Woke up today feeling off. (Ya know, like before you are full blown sick?) yup, just threw up. I'm debating on wether to call my boss now to find a sub for me tomorrow, or wait and see if maybe it was just something I ate bad over the weekend.
I don't want to sound bitchy, but there is no such thing as "stomach flu." You don't have the flu. The influenza virus doesn't cause GI symptoms. What you have is some type of gastroenteritis, and calling GI bugs "flu" leads to people thinking that the flu vaccine doesn't work because they got one, then had some vomiting illness.

Exactly. It's possibly the norovirus that is also going around right now. Either way, it's no fun.
Yeah, I know you don't actually throw up with the flu, but I don't know exactly what it is.
I'm just glad I had today off. This morning would NOT have been pretty if I'd been at work. It hit hard this morning. I'm calling here shortly once I get things in ord for a sub.
H just talked to his parents, who apparently have it as well. (Hit them in the middle of the night.) they were here Saturday, along with my BFF and her husband and baby. I think the baby had something we all caught. (Baby was a little pokey a few days before they came over, but she is being introduced to things other than formula, so her mom assumed that's what was causing it.)
