I wear weather appropriate clothing and crocs with the strap on the back. Not stylish, but I don't have to struggle to get my shoes on and off, and I don't worry about them falling off.

I wear comfy layers. Jeans, tank, sweater (I usually get cold on planes). I generally wear boots because then they're not taking up room in my suitcase. Plus, they're easy to take off at security and there aren't any laces to tie.
Leggings (shuddup), tshirt, a cardigan and flats. I wore riding boots to the airport last week and they were a PITA to get off and on while hopping around on the gross floor with no socks.
comfy clothes (but not schleppy). jeans, tee shirt, jacket, flats. sometimes my lulu still pants and a long sleeve tee. scarf. moccasins. sometimes flip flops.
idk. these questions are weird. why would you wear anything different on a plane? like, wouldn't you just wear clothes?
Well of course, but when I am in the airport I see so many people wearing pajama pants or sweatpants, and I wondered if that was the norm.
Besides, traveling in jeans sucks, because they stick to me, especially in humid weather. And don't people get cold if they wear dresses?
And my mom is still old fashioned enough that she wears business casual clothes on the plane, which I know is not comfortable at all.
I always wear the largest/heaviest shoes I am taking with me-even if it's more of a pain through security, I'd rather have the room in my suitcase. And always lots of layers because I'm freezing all the time, and being on an airplane is usually colder than normal.
Oh, remember when this question would get asked on the Travel board on the Nest? Five pages of "I dress for comfort, yoga pants and a comfy shirt and shoes" and "People who dress for comfort and wear yoga pants on an airplane should be shot" would ensue. Good times.

Regular everyday clothes. I always make sure to wear layers though, because I never know if the plane will be hot or cold. And I always put my belt in my carry on bag then put it on after security, I always feel like I'm holding everyone up taking it on and off in the line.
It depends when we're traveling and where we're going. I wear regular clothes, like jeans and a t-shirt or sweater, and plan for layers so that I'll be warm/cool enough both at home and at our destination. On overnight flights I'll wear something more comfortable, like leggings and a tunic. I try to wear my heaviest shoes, which means I wear riding boots during the winter and sneakers during the spring and summer.

lol. Really? That's dumb. Sorry, but if I'm on an overnight flight, I will be comfortable.

Jeans, a nice shirt, and ballet flats. Easy.
I made the mistake once of traveling in a skirt and wedge sandals. That was the day my flight was delayed and I had to race across the airport to make my connecting flight that was already boarding. Never again.

Jeans, cotton t-shirt, some sort of layering piece because I get really cold. Socks (gasp!), and shoes like sketchers that can be easily removed, but are comfy to walk in. If I'm going somewhere warm, I put a pair of flip flops in my carry-on to put on when we get there.

I don't disagree. But there were a lot of people whose family worked for the airlines so they always flew stand-by and I guess had to dress a little nicer since they were sort of considered to be representing the airline, and they felt it was disrespectful and a slap in the face for others who paid full price to not follow the rules they had to follow to get their cheap/free flights. Whackadoodlery at its finest.
That is so stupid. I got bumped to first class by my friend because she worked for AA, but she told me that I had to dress nice (no denim, at least business casual), so I did. I was getting bumped to class for free! I wasn't worried about the other people in first class wearing jeans.

Depends on the season. Typically I'll wear leggings tucked into boots with a tee and a flowy/oversized cardigan that I can remove if necessary or that could double as a pillow/blanket. I find that very comfy and the boots are easy to slip off going through security.
If it's the dead of summer and 100 degrees outside, I'll still bring a cardigan if the plane is chilly but will wear black capris and sandals or something on the bottom.

depends on how long the flight is and the weather. if it's a short flight, i almost always do jeans and a shirt with a jacket or sweater. if it's a long/overnight flight, i do some kind of athletic pants for comfort, usually with a hoodie.
