Not nearly enough. I drink more when I'm at work because I bring my big refillable water bottle that holds like 32 oz and typically drink the whole thing by day's end, then a couple more glasses at night. But on days I'm not at work, I bet I struggle to get 3 glasses in. I just don't think to drink unless I'm thirsty.

I wish I could check "I don't count". I certainly do not have a set amount. Human water needs change constantly depending on many metabolic factors, so quotas are senseless to me.

I am awful at drinking water. I drink when I'm thirsty, but I don't force myself to drink too much or I'd spend all day using the restroom. Some days, I don't have time to go until after 2 p.m.

The bolded is my least favorite part of drinking water. I can hold it like a camel, but DANG - lately I've doubled my water intake and I have to go, literally, once an hour. It stinks.
I said 8-12 glasses, but it could easily be twice that much.
I pretty much only drink water (my 2 cups of chai in the am being the exception), and if I am home I drink it every time I walk into the kitchen and whenever else I think of it. I fill my glass with a straw all day long, refilling as soon as it is empty. If I go to the bathroom, before I get back to whatever I was doing, I go refill my glass. If it wasn't empty I drink what is there and refill it. If I am going to work in another room, I take my glass with me. If I am working at my partner's house I don't drink quite as much, but I try.
My mom has horrible tasting water and no filter, so everyone drinks bottled water at her house. DH had to keep going to the store for cases of water when we were staying there over the holidays, mostly because he and I were going through it like crazy. I thought it was just because it was so dry there, but when we got home I realized that we really do drink that much water normally.
