THANK YOU for all your suggestions to my "make me over" post. I got a lot of great ideas, so I placed an order today after weighing costs and reviews. I went with:

Maybelline age rewind for my under eye circles
CoverGirl lash blast mascara
Some neutral-ish eye shadows (CoverGirl shimmering sands trio)

I am waiting on lipgloss/lipstick for now since it's a hard color to pin down. But I got all this (plus 6 brushes that are highly rated) for $30 on Amazon. Not a bad start to my collection!
